idaT

Targeted at children aged 0-8 years, Danish brand idaT is easily recognisable by its bold block colours and engaging, entertaining animal prints.

All idaT clothes are certified under the Oeko-Tex 100 standard, ensuring that they are free of harmful chemicals and substances.  The standard sets stricter requirements for clothing for children under 3 years old, but all idaT clothing meets these standards, even those sized for older children.

The idaT range includes bodysuits, rompers, kimono singletsuits, hats and bibs for babies in a range of 13 colours and prints. For older children there are t-shirts, leggings, trousers, shorts, skirts, dresses, hoodies, vests, underwear, hats, scarves and legwarmers, again in a large range of colourways and prints. HRH Princess Mary of Denmark is counted among idaT’s fans.

Australian shoppers can buy idaT from I Want Fabulous!

Pitta Patta

Created by mother and naturopath Alex Field, the Pitta Patta skincare range is environmentally ethical, natural and, where possible, organic.

The collection of moisturising creams, massage oils, soaps and indigo essences have been carefully created by Field to create calm, soothing experiences and moods for babies and children, and are also safe for use by women during pregnancy.

The range includes products designed to aid sleeping problems, to calm angry, upset children, to enhance self-confidence and to help children with stress problems among other benefits.

Australian shoppers can purchase Pitta Patta products through the Australian sales section of their website.

Lille Barn

A UK based company, Lille Barn produces clothes with a gently vintage-inspired, Scandanavian feel due to the brand’s lead designer originating from Norway.

The clothes are mainly made from Oeko-Tex certified organic cotton and merino wool, and are manufactured to the highest standards within the EU.  The clothing is sized for children aged 0-4 years.

Spring/Summer ‘09 features classic nautical stripes, delicate florals and earthy forest greens and browns. Styles are simple and functional, yet retain a classic childlike charm.

Lille Barn clothes are not currently available in Australia, but you can source them through the list of overseas online stockists on the Lille Barn website.
