In the pursuit of the finest baby and kids products in the market to present to you I see a lot of products – thousands every year. The criteria that are important to me in the appraisal of an artefact are a balance between design aesthetic, ethos, originality, quality and function. There’s also an unquantifiable element that separates the wheat from the chaff, a certain je ne sais quoi, the ‘X’ factor that makes an object shine out from the pack.

I am lucky enough to work with astoundingly talented people, not least Edwina, a staff writer for KSF.

As well as being a mum of three gorgeous boys and working part time in the film industry, Edwina works quietly away on her Little Snoring – hushlittlenoring.com – range creating exquisite jewellery, softies and soft furnishings for the home which undeniably have that special something.

Edwina sources her necklace charms and quality fabrics locally and from the US, and hand makes all her pieces, which are all unique, herself.

Recently receiving recognition on Inside Out magazine’s blog Edwina’s playful, unique and characterful creations are set to soar.

Prices range from $16-$18 for Pocket Panda softies, $25 for cushion covers, $18-$38 for women’s and children’s necklaces and $38 for French Poodle softies, making them great options for Christmas gifting.

KidStyleFile readers are lucky duckies: you can take 10% off all Little Snoring products until 4 December 2009 by entering ‘KSFSNOOZE’ at checkout. Enjoy!

Little Snoring postage charges start at $2.00 and international orders are welcome. Click here and browse the menu on the right hand side of the site for full postage and delivery information.
