Good Egg Hunting at Eternal Creation: Find The Eggs to Score 15%-40% off Your Entire Order

Posted: March 31st, 2010

Today’s post written by Miki

……………………………………………………………………………………………………

Everyone loves an Easter Egg hunt, but believe me when I tell you that this one is even better than  most: Eternal Creation – www.eternalcreation.com – have hidden Easter eggs all over their site, and the lucky people who find them will get instant discounts on their entire order!

Here’s the deal:

  • find a red egg and you’ll get a 15% discount
  • green eggs give a 20% discount
  • the purple eggs give you a whopping 40% off

and remember, those discounts are off your entire order!  There are also special eggs which include free gifts along with the codes.

There is a catch though, because the code from each egg can only be used a handful of times.  This means that when you find an egg, you’d better use that code quickly before others beat you to it and it expires!  But don’t worry if you do miss out because the eggs and codes are changed every day. The Easter Egg hunt ends on Monday 5 April 2010, and you’ll kick yourself if you miss out on this one. Happy hunting!

A Little Bunny Love For You This Easter

Posted: March 31st, 2010

……………………………………………………………………………………………………

Easter is a time when big bunnies, little bunnies, soft bunnies and chocolate bunnies join our families. Bunnies are a lovely symbol of the both the soft innocence and bouncy energy of childhood, and I had a lot of fun searching some of my favourite online stores for cool bunny products and, well, they did just start multiplying, as you can see!

While toy bunnies are easy to take in to your life, you may want to think twice before taking a real live bunny in: they can live for 10+ years, and while they make wonderful pets, they are *much* more labour intensive than the pretend variety.

Things To Make & Do This Easter: Mibo’s Yolk Folk & Carrot Crew

…………………………………………………………………………………………………

UK-based Mibo Design Studio – www.mibo.co.uk – burst into the scene in 2001 after designer Madeleine Rogers couldn’t find lighting solutions that put a smile on her dial.

Neccessity is the mother of invention, and Madeline got on the case, quickly gathering fans including UK’s Habitat and The Conran Shop. Mibo has since expanded its range to include wallpapers, textiles and ceramics, and the sweetest paper-craft animals.

This Easter, celebrate with Mibo’s irresistable Carrot Crew and Yolk Folk paper animal families. You can purchase the templates for these beauties from the Mibo Etsy store for a mere USD$3.90 a set (currently converts to AUD$4.25 – check Xe.com for up-to-the-minute currency conversions).

Once payment has been made you will receive your templates as a PDF document via email. You can use this file over and over again to create as many chicks or bunnies as you desire (I think I’ll go a’la Color Me Katie, and have them all over the house in large numbers – magic!). They’d make great little gifts to give with chocolate eggs, too.

Aside from a colour printer and paper card stock, you’ll need scissors, a craft knife, a ruler and a glue stick to complete your little Easter friends. Each critter takes 5-15 minutes to create. What a wonderful way to enjoy some Easter fun with your children!

Aunty Ollie Turns Up The Heat For Winter: 20% off A/W10 for KidStyleFile Readers

………………………………………………………………………………………………

The days are getting shorter and cooler, and I’m in celebration mode. I adore Autumn/Winter fashion – love love love it! – and the new collection of one of my absolute favourite brands has me salivating every time I see it.  I’m talking about Aunty Ollie – www.auntyollie.com – where designer Jodie Hampshire has turned on her charm yet again with stunning new prints and great cuts, creating an array of must-have pieces for our colder months.

Being a mum of boys, I absolutely cannot resist the Aunty Ollie ‘Little Man’ shirts, which manage to be dressy and funky at the same time – and this is no mean feat for boyswear!  They’re so versatile: dress them down by wearing them open over a tee with jeans, or dress them up with smarter trousers and a blazer, waistcoat or tie. This versatility also makes them excellent trans-seasonal wear, so you’ll really get your money’s worth.

For girls, the standout pieces are the ‘Whodunnit’ trench coats which are crisp, hip and come in the most spectacular prints, and the Little Lady Dresses which are hot picks for trans-seasonal dressing; they’re unlined so are great for the warmer Autumn days as is, or they can be layered up for Winter.

A fantastic new development just revealed at Aunty Ollie is the launch of the exquisite new Aunty Ollie Baby range which is online now. Plus, coming soon in April, is Aunty Ollie Ladies, a small range of day dresses and skirts for grown up girls – yes!! Sign up to the Aunty Ollie newsletter to be first to hear when it’s available to purchase, and score yourself a 10% discount into the bargain: see the Aunty Ollie homepage for details.

As a special gift to KidStyleFile readers, Jodie at Aunty Ollie is us 20% off the entire Aunty Ollie A/W10 collection.  Enter code ‘KSF‘ at checkout to redeem until 5 April 2010 only. (Please note that this discount cannot be unsed in conjunction with any other offer, and is not applicable on previous season’s pieces….but there are good discounts on many of these already, so dig in!)
