Carry on a family tradition, stalk the gossip mags for the hip celebrity favourites, pore through ‘baby name books’ or surf the myriad of online baby name sites: however you choose to go about it, naming our babies is one of the precious privileges bestowed on parents.

Our first son was named in utero and simply carried on this name when he entered the world. When our second bundle of blue arrived, we only had 1 boys name in mind and it has suited the handsome little man to a ‘T’. Last but not least…our little girl. Although we knew she was a girl throughout the entire pregnancy, when she finally *finally* arrived, the poor little love remained unnamed for an hour or two while we made our final pick from the 3 names we loved!

Whatever name you have (or will) choose for you little one, I trust you let love and with kindness rule in your decision making; for they will wear it for the rest of their life (no pressure!)  A child’s name has so much power to it and I always love hearing the first attempts at their own name. It is a joy to watch them get a grasp of the sound of their own name.
