Summer fashion is the most gorgeous of all fashion in my opinion. It’s relaxed and effortlessly cool, oozing warmth and good vibes and freezing out the chill of winter. Today, the promise of summer brings forth a spring in our steps and an array of inspiring new fashion at Cornflowerblue – www.cornflowerblue.com

The are some new players to Cornflowerblue including Little Chillies, Boohoo?, One Sunday and Urban Elk. A must mention is the Boohoo? Lily Playsuit as it is just divine and really captures the essence of playful summer days. The perfect mix of vintage florals and pastels in the Little Chillies Magnolia Onesie and Party Dress has also stolen my heart. Be sure to also have a peek at the stunning range from La Queue Du Chat, this beautiful French label never fails to impress with their quality, classic styling.

If you are looking to up the glam factor for that special event then check out Paper Wings and their fabulously on-trend Desert Rose Sateen Maxi Dress. Little Wings has the equally cool Glitter Skirt and Go Gently Baby relaxes into summer with some stylishly simple designs including the Harem Pant in Slate. For boys I think that you cannot go past the new season looks from Chalk n Cheese, and the navy looks from Gaia really celebrate the nautical theme that is so hot right now.

Feel the warmth on your back this summer with a 10% saving on all new summer fashion at Cornflowerblue, valid until 23 September, 2011. Make sure to type in SPRING-10 at the checkout for your discount, and enjoy browsing through the gorgeous new season clothing!

Chalk n Cheese – www.chalkncheeseclothing.com.au - has blown me away this spring/summer season with a stunning, sweet flowing range just perfect for  little girls who love to skip, hop and jump the days away whilst chasing butterflies, and for mischevious boys with elfin grins. It is absolutely sublime, maintaining a classic feel whilst integrating a soothing, magical lift of whimsy. A noticeable addition to the Chalk n Cheese line is the V styled back which is a feature piece in a number of the dresses. Choosing a single piece within the collection will be extremely difficult this year with almost each piece a stand out.

ChalknCheese is proudly manufactured in Melbourne under the direction of stylista Tracy Eastwood who began the label back in 2005. A mainstay label in the child fashion industry, renowned for attention to detail and beautiful frabic selections, any Chalk and Cheese selection will add a touch of individuality and style to your munchkins wardrobe.

Both boys and girls are catered for within the range, with sizing from 1 to 8. Prices start at $39.00. Click here for stockists, who will receive their stock by the end of September 2011.

The Demon Dozen: SS11-12 Fashion Forward Picks For Style Conscious Boys

Posted: September 13th, 2011

……………………………………………………………………………………………………

I’ll admit that I much prefer shopping for my kids than myself. When their wardrobes need some TLC, you’ll always find me online, where it’s calm and quiet with zero chance of tantrums.  As a constant hunter for all things hip, the selection of super cool duds is most certainly on the up. Australian stores are hearing our call, and finally the boys are getting a piece of some well earned stylish action.

This season, our little demons are pulling off their pullovers and getting back into boardies. You’ll see lots of ocean blues, minty greens and accents of black mixed with soft greys and hard edged graphics. Retro prints and old school illustration make a comeback thanks to Baobab and Mister Mista, while geometry is also loud and proud, with Munster and Katvig having fun with daring stripes.

If I was allowed a favourite, I’d probably have to say Minti. I just love the classic basics mixed with vivid t-shirts and cool pants. However, as the weather warms up, we must also remember to keep our kids sun protected. On that note, don’t forget that Agoo are giving away a free pair of Kidz Banz sunnies while stocks last until 30 September 2011, when you buy one of their 50+UV protected shirts. Now isn’t that’s a great incentive to slip, slop, slap?!
