We’re in the midst of moving house. It’s another house ‘to borrow’, as we explain to our 4 year old, until we find our own. Moving is a mammoth effort as anyone who’s done it will know, but as a friend kindly reminded me, it’s a great excuse to purge those belongings you just don’t really need anymore to make room for things you love!

Looking at the boy’s room, I would certainly love to treat them to a few of Donna Wilson’s designs – how about a kookie cat to cuddle at night, or a soft lambswool blanket to snuggle under while the nights remain cold. I know they’d find it fun to hug a tree cushion and have some role play  with a cloud cushion, or two. I’d like to get them writing (or scribbling) with the gorgeous notecards and sticker packs, and sending some love to their grandparents abroad.

Originally from Scotland, Donna Wilson rose to fame following the creation of her odd knitted creatures for her final show at university. She now designs from London, focusing her efforts on hand knitting quirky products that reflect not only her exceptional craftsmanship, but also her sense of curious creativity.
