I first fell in love with Norwegian label Pale Cloud – www.pale-cloud.com - when I came across their AW2011 range and their exquisite selection of fabrics and embellishments (think silk, angora, cashmere and alpaca). As such, I am super excited to present the Pale Cloud Spring Summer 2012 Collection, for girls 2-12 years which will begin arriving in Northern Hemisphere stores later this month (including Barneys New York and Illum Copenhagen), and for the very first time, Australia!
This season promises to be just as exuberant as the last, with delights such as the Sophie Dress & Skirt which is crafted from 100% Silk Chiffon cut into strips and then hand dip dyed in two colours. And who would have thought stone-wash would make a comeback? With Pale Cloud stone washing silk and mixing it with very fine sheep leather trim, the Frida Dress is unique, stunning and very modern. The Stella Program is one of the highlights of the range, and consists of a trio of Blazer, Carrot Pants and Shorts. Here you’ll find the eye for detail that Pale Cloud is quickly acquiring a reputation for: pale pink cupro lining, neat pleating and delicate studs.
Pale Cloud can be pre-ordered now from Millie Abroad.
