I love items that make me warm with nostalgia for my childhood. Trunk & Orderly – www.trunkandorderly.com.au – do just that with their divine range of fine cases, storage boxes and storage units.
Trunk & Orderly produce their items in small runs, with lining in limited editions prints. My favourite lining is the aptly titled ‘A unicorn pooped a rainbow’ – with a name like that it will surely bring a splash of colour to your world. Each product is individually handcrafted in Ballarat, Victoria, using lots of authentic vintage stock from the UK. The cases are made in the style of traditional fibreboard suitcases, which means they are tough enough to withstand rough and tumble. Let’s face it though, a little scrape here and there would only add to the vintage charm!
