Through my blogging work it has been such a privilege to meet so many mumpreneurs. I believe its a modern day phenomenon and a sure sign that there are so many talented mamas out there, ambitious to make a difference, however big or small. It’s awesome right?
One such mum is English footwear designer Catherine Lobley, who has followed her passion for quality footwear, creating Poco Nido – www.pococnido.com – some of the cutest hand printed pre-walkers around. Working from a small studio in Sheffield, Catherine has sensibly started small and aims to grow steadily, maintaining supreme quality and an ethical philosophy in her business. Made from cotton twill, lined in cotton jersey with a suede sole, these shoes actually stay on. The prints are just totally adorable and I just couldn’t resist getting a pair for my nephew.
I also love the popper neck vintage style t-shirts with super cute graphic characters and motifs. They are totally on trend, and a great story starter. I can imagine popping on the Navy Cat t-shirt and creating a tale about seven naughty kittens…
