It’s that time again! Our favourite trade show, Kids Instyle – www.kidsinstyle.com.au – is coming up next month and we can’t wait to bring all the hot new products to you as we find them. This show is highly anticipated throughout the year, and this edition – due to be held from 2 – 5 August – is sure to be as fantastic as ever. Today I’m going to show you ten of the exhibitors we’re most looking forwards to seeing at the event.
Today I bring you the first of a three-part series; keep an eye out for the next two over the coming few weeks.
Do you own a children’s store? Register to attend Life Instyle at the Centenary Hall Precinct, Melbourne between 2 – 5 August 2012. Please note that attendance is open to trade only.
a. My Munchkin Home’s range of wall stickers, soft cushions and organic sleepwear can help you create a dream oasis in your child’s bedroom. The designs are simple and classic, with products appropriate for everyone from newborns to teenagers and beyond.
b. Little Tinkers is the home of top quality children’s decor and homewares brands Jetti Spaghetti Designs, Living Like Lulu and Hunter’s Hut. The products all incorporate colour and style while still retaining the practicality necessary in a home containing children.
c. The World Of Good distributes high quality organic cotton and sustainable products to retailers in the nursery industry. Their lineup of brands includes the Nest range of children’s furniture, Ellaroo baby carriers, Kanoe baby hammock, Scout clothing, Dandelion toys, bags, infant feeding and layette as well as aden + anais.
d. bower & beyond’s fresh approach to design for modern families is inspired by their desire to make life with small children more beautiful, safe and fun. Their iconic Rokki transforms from an attractive and soothing baby rocker to a ride on toy.
e. Overcrawls are fun, colourful and eminently practical pieces of baby and toddler clothing – they wipe clean! They’re top of my ‘wish I had that when my kids were tots’ list.
f. The Playing Mantis distributes an exclusive and award winning range of toys in Australia and New Zealand. Their toys are classic and timeless, and are chosen for their educational, ethical and environmental credentials.
g. Tom & Teddy designs and manufactures high quality swimwear for boys and their dads. The brand is “all about friendship, shared experiences and that special bond between father and son”, and presents its range of UV-protective quick drying microfibre swimwear at this year’s KIS.
h. Oscar Blue’s stunning range of accessories for girls aged newborn and up has been designed to be worn everywhere from kinder to birthday parties. They even have a range of hair accessories in school colours.
i. MiniFin’s range of affordable, hard wearing, funky and very stylish baby and kidswear is always a hit. With low price points and high quality, it’s the everyday wear brand your kids will never take off once they’ve tried it on.
j. Furious Kingston’s range of hipster-inspired retro-with-an-edge fashion for boys is a breath of fresh air in the boyswear market. With everything from basic jeans to accessories such as flat caps and ties, the brand will have boys ready to hit the streets in style.
