Did you watch the Olympics? Our family made a real effort to do so after my six year old returned from school with a note informing us that it would be their theme for the term. I always have my eye on fashion trends, so I watched the opening ceremony quite intently to see what our Olympians would be wearing. I was quite excited to spot that the official opening casual shoe of the 2012 Australian Olympic Team was none other than one of my favourite childhood shoes.
Volley - www.volley.com.au - has remerged into the spotlight this season. I am certain you are very familiar with the brand. In my adolescent years they were highly coveted, worn by many – the shoe to be seen in. This has come full circle with Volley one of the most keenly anticipated shoes of summer 12/13.
The Volley International range has been available since 1975. It is the iconic Aussie sandshoe which has seen both Grand Slam tournaments through to festival stages. I love the new pastel and primary colours that have been brought to the range. They are now available for both toddlers (from size 6-12 UK) and youth (13-5 UK).
Volley High Leap was first manufactured in 1973 and birthed the Volley International range. It’s back again and looking perfect for the 21st century. I am loving the black/white contrast. It is available for both toddlers (from size 6-12 UK) and youth (13-5 UK). Infants don’t miss out with both My First Volley and My First High Leap available. Aren’t they super cute?
Volley shoes are available this spring from the Volley online store and stockists across the country. Psst… I noticed that Little Pinwheel will have them in-store soon.
