When my daughter recently started pre-school there was no question as to what I would select for her first day outfit – Australian brand, Baobab – www.baobab.com.au. I knew with absolute certainty that any piece from the range would be comfortable, stylish and different. Here at KidStyleFile HQ, each and everyone one of us have a piece or two (or more!) of Baobab in our kidlets’ wardrobes. The label is both stylish and super comfy, and has a real feel for expressing the joy of being a kid.
Baobab have poured bucket loads of whimsy into this season’s wearable range. I spotted strappy dresses, bubble skirts, funky onesies, irresistible harem pants, shirred shirts in the softest poplins, twisted neck tees, ¾ length denim pants, organic cotton knit fabrics with bold graphics and singlet tops in dusty colours. Both vibrant and muted tones are back, as well as the characteristic prints many of you have grown to adore about the range (spot and pine-needle designs will catch your eye this season).
I’m coveting the ‘Stunning in Spots’ Navy Spot Singlet Dress for my little miss. And of course with the arrival of my best-friend’s first child, what better to welcome her into the world of style than with a Baobab piece; I have my eye on the ‘Ring a Ring of Roses’ Rose Print Bodysuit which is simply adorable. For boys the ‘Boys Own Shorts’ in denim are such a cool, classic style. Created from pale blue chambray, they can be dressed up or down. For baby boys, ‘Spot the Cutie’ Blue Singlet Babygro is super soft and created from 100% organic cotton knit fabric.
The range has been created to mix-and-match, allowing you to create different looks with each combination. Each piece retails for under $50.00 which is exceptional for a boutique garment. You can shop the entire range via Baobab’s online boutique.
