With her eldest daughter in school and her youngest becoming more independent, Carmen McSporran was on the look out for a creative project, and so was born Tillie – www.tillie.com.au, a bold new Australian label for girls 0-8 years.
The Spring/Summer 2012-13 collection is inspired by the Australian landscape, and features a mixture of beautiful bright colours, patterns and designs. A standout is the Blue ‘Skye’ Dress, which incorporates a stunning detailed flower neckline and a colourful chevron pattern. Sweet and light, and perfect for special occasions is the ‘Mya’ Beaded Dress, featuring glass sea-beads and fine cotton embroidery on aqua and blue printed chiffon.
There are items for babies, such as the Aqua ‘Annalise’ Dress with 50′s style shoulder ties and the ‘Dominque’ Beaded Dress with its matching nappy cover and beaded detailing. They are delightful, robust and will keep your little girl in style throughout summer. I love that the range largely requires minimum care (read: no ironing!).
