Ange’s Picks – For twin girls, aged 8

A bit of practicality never goes astray in the Santa sack. My kids are already talking about next year and getting new bottles and backpacks. I love the Contigo West Loop Autoseal stainless steel drink bottle for so many reasons: it’s BPA free, easy to operate, won’t leak and keeps drinks cold for up to 12 hours. Cool!  To me, Christmas gifting is about making magic. You can’t get much more magical than fairies and a portal to fairyland makes for a very special gift. Paper Wings make magical clothing for girls that combines elegance with a sense of adventure. My girls wear Paper Wings every Christmas and this year they’ll be wearing the Paper Wings Metallic Maxi Dress and Butterfly Shirred Swing Dress from Raindrops and Roses.

Miki’s Picks – For two boys, aged 5 & 3

Having a set of wheels gives kids such a wonderful feeling of independence, and I think it’s time my boys (aged 5 and 3) learned this for themselves. I feel safe buying Micro Scooters as they’re a solid, reliable brand – plus they look awesome!  And because safety is always paramount but good looks aren’t far behind, Kiddimoto Helmets to keep their little noggins protected and looking cool.

2. Micro Scooter Rocket Little Sprout $179.95

Edwina’s Picks – For three boys, aged 11, 9 & 5

The Fox to Colour is a cool twist on colouring books. The cutie-pie fox is ripe for customisation and a fun project to keep and cuddle. The Musical Gears will be great for my oldest boy. He  is 11 and loves making things with his hands. It is the perfect combination of cool mechanics and technical satisfaction when he makes it himself, sprinkled with a jingle of bells. The Seedling Good Things for Boys Kit is a package full of classic toys for boys. There is lots of fun here to keep them busy during the holidays.

1. Marielle Bazard’s Fox to Colour French Bazaar $22.95
2. HABA ~ Terra Kids – Musical Gears Where Did You Get That? $67.95
3. Seedling Good Things for Boys Oola $32.95

Anna’s Picks – For two boys aged 8 & 7, & one girl aged 3

We have recently moved house and we now have a grand old tree crying out for a beautiful swing. The Soar Swing solves the problem and will delight for hours. I love encouraging my kids understanding of geography and where they live in context of the entire world. I can think of some great games to play during summer with the Tiger Tribe Blow Up Globe. Perfect, yes?  We’ve had Natives for the past couple of summers which are a great all rounder and so easy to slip on to run outdoors, go bike riding or off to the beach. But little feet just keep on growing, so time for some new ones.

1. Left Hand Make Soar Swing Urban Baby $49.95
2. Tiger Tribe Blow Up Globe Lime Tree Kids $14.95
3. Native Shoes Little Pinwheel $49.95

Leah’s Picks – For one boy aged 6 & one girl aged 4

I’m a firm believer that a beautiful new dress with exquisite detailing and the ability to make the wearer feel like a princess should *always* be included in the Christmas bounty. Tutu Du Monde exceeds expectations, is Australian designed and is at the top of my daughter’s wish list. For the outdoorsy type you can’t go wrong with a kite. Just add wind and you have a summer holiday activity that they’ll never grow bored of. Bags, bags and bags. There is no end to our obsession at my place. With my littlest starting preschool this year, a library bag is sure to be a hot favourite!

1. Tutu Du Monde Periwinkle Tutu Dress Buckets & Spades  $159.00
2. Little Robin Shoulder Bag Cocoon Couture $39.95
3. Flying Bird – Tiger Tribe Shop for Tots $19.95

Dom’s Picks – For twin girls, aged 2

It’s all about girly things at my place this Christmas. I can imagine my twin girls snuggling in close together and sharing a lovely book in this gorgeous Mocka teepee. I think I love her more than they do, but Hello Kitty is iconic, kitschy and cute; what’s not to love? Being a make-up addict I was a bit worried about letting the girls wear nail-polish too soon, but Hopscotch Kids is non-toxic water-based nail-polish designed for kiddies; plus the yellow is appropriate because I sing ‘You Are My Sunshine’ to my girls every night at bedtime.

1. Teepee – Girly Girl Design Child, $99.95
2. Hopscotch Kids You Are My Sunshine Nail Polish A Little Bit Of Cheek, $17.95
3. Hello Kitty Fairy Buckets & Spades $39.95

Raquel’s Picks – For one boy aged 9 & three girls aged 6, 5 & 3

My son is nuts for tigers so when I spied this kidtastic, organic cotton boxer set I was sold. Practical and fun, love ‘em! Last year, my girls fave pressie was a pretty tin filled with goodies… this year I’m lovin’ these awesome vintage-vibe cardboard cases; good fun for them and a pretty, non-cutesy addition to their room. Before popping under the tree, I’ll amp up the fun-factor by putting some smaller gifts inside, like kaleidoscopes, eco-torches, pretty felt hair bands, etc. Is this teepee cool or what?! As all my kids still totally dig creating DIY tents with sheets and chairs, I know it’ll make an awesome play gift for my mixed gender crew to share in.

1. Mini Rodini Boy Boxers (2 Pack) Stars in a Jar $25.00
2. Lale Graphic Cases (Set of 3) French Bazaar  $69.00
3. Indian Teepee & Dress Up Play Tent The Little Kidz Closet $119.95
