Summer time can be a wonderful time get inside and out of the heat; to entertain the kids simply grab the craft box and get the kids making stuff. It is often the case that the fun is definitely in the process of creation, not necessarily in the outcome. It’s great if they love what they have made, but often it is the act of creation that gives them (and us!) the greatest pleasure. This month’s projects do require a little adult involvement, but still ensure a creative play time that everyone can enjoy.
A particular favourite of mine this month is the washi tape car tracks from lejardinejuliette. This clever idea can be adapted for many different approaches: pony stables and jumps, a space station for Lego creations, a treasure map for pirate adventures and more.
