Earth Day this year is on Monday 22 April and, although every day should be Earth Day, it is good to be reminded to be considerate and caring towards our planet.
This month’s selection of crafty projects embrace the notion of recycling and reusing. They remind us that there is so much around our homes that can be re-purposed and up-cycled to create something beautiful or practical. There is even a great idea for using up all that old nail polish which will have you marbling everything you can find. Old potato chip packets, tissue paper and out of date maps make the coolest tassels for your next decorating dilemma.
Getting your kids involved in reusing things that might otherwise be thrown away is a great way of stimulating their imaginations while teaching them to be resourceful. Enjoy today’s Earth Day Craft for Kids.
