KidStyleFile Loves Food : Homemade Popsicles
News + Inspiration

Chasing down the Mr Whippy van, slurping on a Sunnyboy at the local pool and eating a Bubble- O-Bill with the neighbourhood kids (do you remember his bubble gum nose?!)- my childhood summertime memories are full of frozen treats of one sort or another. The ice cream, ice block and popsicle are still a part of an Australian way of life during our long hot summers – somethings never change. These days we are much more aware of what we (and our kids eat) and I prefer to steer clear of artificial colours and preservatives as much as possible. Making your own frozen treats is a great way of knowing exactly what is in each bite. Here we have rounded up a collection of homemade popsicles for you to try out this summer or use them as inspiration and make up your own!
