It’s Crazy Season: Up to 80% off at Pastel Pink - Bebe by Minihaha, Three Little Trees, Gertie & Me + More, PLUS Cocoon Couture GWP Offer

Posted: June 4th, 2009

Today’s post written by Miki

……………………………………………………………………………………………………

Wow! Cheryl at Pastel Pink - www.pastelpink.com.au - has been marking down her stock, and my goodness me has she gone to town on it!

When you take into account the extra 15% off store-wide that you get by joining Club Pink (it’s free!), we’re talking up to 80% off brands like Bebe by Minihaha and Gertie & Me, Three Little Trees, Huggalugs and Alimrose Dolls.  Now do you see why I say WOW?!  Let’s say it again: ***WOW***!!!

Summer stock from Bebe by Minihaha and Three Little Trees has all been marked down by a huge 65%! New season stock from the same brands has been marked down by 20% and 15% respectively, and then you can add your 15% Club Pink discount to that.  You barely even need to get out the credit card at these prices, you could just about send Cheryl the spare change in your pocket!

Huggalugs are reduced by 10% (or more like 25% for Club Pink members), so now is a brilliant time to stock up on these cool weather essentials.  Your kids’ arms and legs will never have felt warmer or looked cooler!

Gertie & Me soft toys - so divine that Princess Mary famously bought the echidna for little Prince Christian - have also been marked down by 20%, and there are a couple of adorable new critters in the collection: Olivia Pig and Isobel Mouse.

There’s also brand spanking new stock from Sooki Baby, Tiny Tribe, Cocoon Couture (have you seen their wall art?) and a new FlatOUT Bear, Rosie, who is pretty in pink.  Too cute!

Now I mentioned Cocoon Couture above and, besides the gorgeous new stock, here’s why: any KidStyleFile reader who purchases a Cocoon Couture beanbag AND either a Cocoon Couture Kinder Bag or a piece of Cocoon Couture Wall Art will also receive a Cocoon Couture Library Bag (rrp $15.00) FREE!  You can even choose from the Enchanted Forest or Jungle designs!  All you have to do is enter ‘KSF’ in the comments box at checkout.  Yippeee!!

Go Local or Global with the Little Explorers 50% off Sale

Posted: May 30th, 2009

……………………………………………………………………………………………………

With the school holidays coming up (or starting now, if you’re in Tassie!) I bet a whole heap of you are planning to go away somewhere. It doesn’t matter if it’s overnight to grandma’s house, or a two week trip to Disneyland, you’re going to need some bits and pieces to keep the kids amused and organised, and the place head first is Little Explorers - www.littleexplorers.com.au.

HOT TIP: If you’re scratching your head on what to do this holidays, you can search through Little Explorers’ directory of fun, exciting, kid-friendly places to go, and gather info on taking the kids outdoors and travelling with their FREE articles.

Ok, so now you’ve decided to go on the road, what do you need?

First of all you’ll need a bag to pack the multitudes of gear in.  With a range from Rush, GR8X and Kiddysac, and some sweet little changemat clutches from ChangeMates to pop in your bag for any little ones still in nappies, you have no excuse not to find something gorgeous - and the great thing about the Rush trolley suitcases is that they’re so easy to spot on the baggage reclaim circuit!

Next you need to find things to put in the new bag.  Swimwear is usually an essential packing item for any holiday with active kids, and Little Explorers have a huge amount to choose from for girls and boys.  What about Cuddlefish at heavily reduced prices? Zoggs are there too, along with 2Chillis, Major Menace and Loose Boots among others. There’s even a section of floaties for the smallest family members.

The last thing to make sure you have before you get on the road is something to feed the kids with!  Eating accessories are ultra-important when you’re travelling - after all, nobody wants to deal with kids who are low on blood sugar!! - so make sure you have a lunchbox packed full of healthy snacks and a drink bottle to hand at all times, plus of course Kipiis are invaluable if you have a messy little eater and the HandySitt portable high chair/booster seat is a nifty way of avoiding those nasty, filthy high chairs that seem to populate airports and such places.

Now make absolutely certain that you don’t miss the super Sale Section at Little Explorers.  It’s huge and packed full of delicious discounts, including top brands at up to 50% off! They’re only there while stocks last, so go go go!

Easter is a-coming: Gift Ideas to Inspire at Where Did You Get That?, PLUS 10% off store-wide

Posted: March 24th, 2009

Today’s post written by Miki

……………………………………………………………………………………………………

Have you noticed what I’ve been noticing when you go to the supermarket?  Yep, it’s that time of year again - Easter is on its way and chocolate is everywhere!

Now, I’m never one to complain about chocolate being everywhere (oh my, isn’t that my fondest dream!), but Easter gifts can take all sorts of shapes and forms, and chocolate is only one of them. Keep in mind also that too much chocolate for the kids isn’t necessarily a good idea.

So here are some ideas from the inspirational Where Did You Get That? - www.wheredidyougetthat.com.au - which are so awesome that they’ll distract you from the chocolate cravings for a while, and I know that’s saying a lot!

First of all, how about a Radio Flyer wagon?  The kids will work off all their sugar-hit energy giving each other rides up and down the driveway, and the wagon can haul all their other Easter loot around.  Radio Flyer wagons are so sturdy that you’ll get years - possibly even decades! - of use out of it.

Radio Flyer also have really great scooters for little ones, and they come in a choice of racy red or pretty pink. This is another good way to help the kids burn off some of that sugar hit.

Toni and Melony at WDYGT? have stocked up on the totally adorable Deglingos ‘Lapinos’ bunnies as well.  Absolutely perfect for a lasting, adorable, whimsical Easter gift, these little guys just make me want to pick them up and cuddle them.  Actually, the same goes for the whole Degingos range, I love it!

With Easter comes school holidays, which in turn means a lot of time during which parents must entertain the kids.  And has anyone else noticed that the Easter holidays usually involve at least a few days of rain?  Rain - in moderation - is wonderful, but it does mean finding inside activities for the kids.  I recommend Djeco craft kits which are hours of fun.

The Animal Mosaics are especially great: kids will love putting together the four mosaics inside each box, and will be proud as punch of the finished designs!  Plus Toni & Melony managed to get a great price on a bulk order of Djeco Mosaics which means the savings are being passed on to us.

Now because they love us, Toni & Melony are giving KidStyleFile readers 10% off store-wide*!  Yep, that includes sale prices which means that summer clothing is down to around 50% off for Tea Collection, Tommy Rocket and Two Belles! Just enter ‘KSF-Easter’ at checkout. This offer is valid until 5 April 2009. *Excludes Gift Vouchers.

Don’t forget that you can take an extra 10% off the prices below until April 5, 2009. Simply enter ‘KSF-Easter’ at checkout to redeem.

1. Radio Flyer Ranger Wagon, $249.95 $220.00
2. Deglingoes ‘Lapinos’ The Bunny, $59.95
3. Goorin Kids Little Darling Herringbone Cabbie, $39.95
4. Djeco Animal Mosaics, $26.95
5. Goorin Kids Bottle Rocket Elephant Ear Beanie, $24.95
6. Tea Collection Bandiagara Stripe Knit Shirt - Cinnabar,
$39.95 $23.97
7. Tommy Rocket Green Check Shirt,
$54.95 $32.97
8. Two Belles Minnie Mouse Dress,
$49.95 $29.97
