Kids Instyle Sydney 2012 Preview: Part One

Each year, KidStyleFile visits Australia’s premier trade show for unique, high end and boutique children’s clothing and products, Kids Instyle – www.kidsinstyle.com.au. We look forward to the event all year, and as a way of getting into the swing of this year’s event – due to be held from 23-26 February – I am going to start introducing you to some of the most highly anticipated exhibitors.
Today I bring you the first edition of a three-part series – stay tuned for Part 2 next week.
Do you own a children’s store? Register to attend Life Instyle at the Royal Hall of Industries & Horden Pavilion, Sydney between 23-26 February 2012. Note that attendance is open to trade only.
a. Escargot. Co is a vibrant new Australian label, specialising in high quality swimwear and clothing for children.
b. Kate Lauren Designs creates beautiful nursery linen and decor, using only the highest quality fabrics and standards.
c. Infancy have both online and bricks and mortar stores, stocking a range of clothing, toys and accessories from within Australia and overseas. They also have their own line of exquisite baby wear.
d. Little Frenchy is an online boutique run by a family of French expats, who source all their beautiful children’s and maternity clothing directly from France.
e. MiniFin is an Australian label which aims to provide hardwearing everyday clothing for children at affordable price points. Most of their items have RRPs between $9.95 and $24.95.
f. Axis Brokerage & Trading Co. is the Australian distributor for the hugely popular Lundby Dollhouses, among other stylish products sourced from Sweden, Finland, Spain and China.
g. Little Pie Street is the Australian distributor for Danish brand Lucky Boy Sunday. They will be displaying their range of luxury knitted art toys and soft furnishings for the home.
h. Helmschild is a new brand for tweens, comprising of basic pieces for layering and to be worn in any season. The pieces can all be layered and mixed up.
i. Mini Sandcrabs create UPF 50+ swimwear for babies, toddlers and children up to six years of age. Their range includes rashies, swim shorts and sunsuits.
j. Bajo is a boutique brand of toys by Polish designer Wojtek Bajor. Bajor also manufactures the toys in a cottage industry with assistance from local villagers. The toys are stunning in their simplicity and hardiness.
