You may have figured this out already: one of my all time favourite passions is children’s fashion. So much so that during the small pockets of downtime I have I usually find myself perusing the latest lookbooks from the upcoming season or surfing the net for up- and-coming designers. This week I came across Babylady Inc. – babyladyinc.com out of Brooklyn, New York, and my jaw just dropped – just *had* to share!
The designer behind the range is Kat West has combined her passions of family, creativity and fashion into this unique label, which is wholly made in Brooklyn’s garment district. An incredibly stylish, yet quirky and utterly original, design aesthetic flows through all Babylady Inc. garments, but these aren’t museum pieces: Kat’s agenda is that kids should play and have fun in them.
While the range has been predominately for girls, that recently changed with the release of the Babylady Inc. We.Make.Do line for boys. Want to save the whales? Shop Babylady Inc.’s Save It For Me line. Mamas who like a little bit of left-field fashion for themselves too can indulge here.
