There is just soooo much on offer from Tamara and Francine at Metro Mum it’s hard to know where to start!  So let’s just start at the very beginning: which therefore means first mention today must go to the Exclusive KidStyleFile offers on now *extended* until midnight 11 15 December 2009.

#3. Metro Mum currently have 20% off MiniMonkey Slings. These slings are made in a fantastic range of colours; the very funky orange is pictured as #11 below.

#4. Metro Mum also have up to 15% off Isoki products. I showed an enormous level of restraint when our #3 baby was on her way, and chose not to update my baby bag.  But that didn’t stop me from checking out what was in the market! As I was doing so, I fell in love with the award winning brand Isoki. I just love so much about all their wares. My restraint has continued but I have had the pleasure of making a few Isoki purchases for girlfriends, and they have been truly treasured gifts.  But if you have been eying off an Isoki product, then I say “go for it”-  now’s the time with a 15% discount.

#5.  Big shout out too for all the Dad’s and Daddy’s to be – Metro Mum currently have an incredible 30% markdown on all Dadgear Nappy Bags. If you have a hands on Dad to shop for this Christmas, a Daddy bag like the Dadgear Billboard Series Sports Nappy Bag 118 could be a winner.

What a list hey?  In addition to the offers above, Metro Mum also have listed a fantastic deal on Babymoov – Bebedelice Baby Food Processernow only $149, that’s a saving of $51.00!!  And with a fantastic price of $9.99 on Munchee Mug – Kids Anti-spill snack cup and lids – methinks these would make a fantastic stocking filler.

Just new to the fantastic line up of products at Metro Mum are the Dandelion Organic Baby Toys and Feeding Accessories,  the Ebulobo Crazy Wolf Toys and the Thermos Funtainer Camo Chic bottle and Thermos Insulted lunch bags. As a matching pair, these too could make a great Christmas present.

And wait, can you believe it, it just keeps getting longer!  Metro Mum are running a Kris Kringle competition this month!! Entrants have the chance to win $2000 in prizes.

Phew, well that’s it – what a fantastic list of Pre-Christmas offers. Now that you’ve read it, better go check it twice to make sure you don’t miss out on any of these fantastic offers from Metro Mum.

Three Little Owls: Wise Choices for Christmas – Up to 25% off Sale + Spend $100 and Receive a $20 Voucher

Posted: December 7th, 2009

Today’s post written by Leah

……………………………………………………………………………………………………

A. A. Milne’s Winnie-the-Pooh books were quite popular in my house when I was growing up, and I have just introduced them to Master R who has been utterly consumed by Pooh’s antics (who can forget him rolling in mud to disguise himself as a dark rain cloud!).

One of the most vivid characters that comes to mind when I think of the series is Owl. He is the smart one, who always has some great advice for his friends. Multiply these attributes by three and you have Three Little Owls – www.threelittleowls.com.au: they have thought of everything a  mummy could want – just in time for Christmas!

I’m a sucker for bags. I love the smell of new leather and LBB (‘Life Before Babies’) often consisted of weekend shopping trips to find the perfect evening clutch. These days, bags not only need to look good for me to consider them, but need to be highly functional.

Storksak bags fit the bill perfectly, and Three Little Owls have just received shipment of new styles. My favourites are the Elizabeth Nappy Bag in Tan, (it has all the typical nappy bag features – thermo-insulated bottle holder; change mat, individual compartments – but it also fits a laptop!! Perfect for us working mothers) and the new Storksak Suzi Bag, which delivers style and substance at a great price.

Does hubby want something a little more blokey? Something his mates won’t even pick for a nappy bag? He could follow Brad Pitt’s lead and try Storksak’s Jamie nappy bag or try the ultracool  DadGear series which Brad also swings between. These bags have an ultra hip ‘hands free feature’ which means you can feed, play and change the baby without ever having to put the bag down.

If I could have the ultimate wish (besides world peace, ongoing good health and a zillion dollars) this Christmas, at the top of my list would be the eradication of stretch marks and my caesar scar. (I know, I know, they are the road maps of my experiences, but still…) I have fallen in love with the Mama Mio Goodbye Stretch Marks, which aim to minimise the marks. For mums-to-be, they also have Mama Mio Tummy Rub Oil, which can help prevent them to begin with! Thank you Three Little Owls!

This summer I aim to begin the toilet training journey with Miss N.  I searched and searched for training pants for Master R only a year or two ago, and I am delighted that Three Little Owls has introduced Imse Vimse to their catelogue which includes some gorgeous farm and zoo training pants. 100% organic cotton and certain not to let your wee ones (LOL) outer garments get wet, these are perfect for assisting you reach that next milestone.

On the fashion front Three Little Owls have just uploaded Keiki Designs‘ bibs, bloomers, shorts and singlets: the perfect attire for babies and toddlers this summer.

Dimity at Three Little Owls is helping us celebrate Christmas this year with a great offer for all KSF readers: spend $100 and you’ll receive a $20 voucher to spend on your next order until 13 December 2009. Enter coupon code KSFXMAS at checkout to redeem. You can also take up to 25% off everything in the sale section.

Today Miki brings you a great selection of inspired Father’s Day gift ideas. The big day is just over 2 weeks away, so make haste, and scoop up these goodies (and get some great bargains too!)

……………………………………………………………………………………………………

Fathers Day is just around the corner, and I still haven’t organised anything! Eeek!!

Luckily for me and for anyone else in my shoes, it’s been made easy this year. Have a look below to see what these great stores are offering!

First up, we have Global Style – www.globalstyle.com.au, tha bomb for personalised tees, jumpers, singlets, hoodies, hats and bags. With a huge range of the ‘base’ garments and a MASSIVE range of personalisable designs to go on them, each product from Global Style is truly unique.

There’s a great range of Fathers Day designs at the moment, so you can go nuts creating something special for a special Dad who deserves it. My favourite is ‘daddycool’ (pictured below) but that’s just one of many. I couldn’t do justice do all of the available designs in the graphics below, so go and browse around at Global Style to see them all!

Another reason why Global Style gear makes such a great gift is the free matching personalised gift card which can be completed as you go through the checkout process.

Abbey at Global Style is offering KidStyleFile readers 10% off storewide. Enter code: DADDY and expiry: 09/2008 (make sure the date is in exactly that format) when prompted at checkout. Metro Mum – www.metromum.com.au – have a brilliant selection of stuff for dads. The DadGear bags and vests are quite fantastic. I know for a fact that my husband would love these, as he often grumbles about having to carry my gorgeously feminine nappy bags around with him when he takes our son out. And the vest is even better, as it negates the need to carry a bag at all! Pack everything you need into the cleverly-situated pockets and that’s one dad who’s ready to roll.

The ‘For Dad’ section at Metro Mum is full of great gift ideas for daddies, even after the DadGear vests and bags. There’s a gorgeously fluffy – yet masculine – bathrobe and slipper set, Annabel Trends aprons, bath goodies, books, photo frames and more.

Use the Shop 4 Kids code to take 15% off storewide at Metro Mum, and get a free gift!*

The Vanchi nappy bags for dads are great; stylish, minimalist black which doesn’t show the dirt from all those trips to the park and looks great hanging over Dad’s shoulder.

Metro Mum: Making Dad feel special with great Father’s Day ideas (PLUS get a 15% discount & free gift with Shop 4 Kids magazine)

Posted: August 18th, 2008

There’s a wise old saying that “Any man can be a father: it takes a special man to be a Dad”.

With Father’s Day galloping up on September 7, it’s time to turn our minds to suitable and special ideas for that special guy in your family.

Truly celebrate your man’s Daddy status at Metro Mum – www.metromum.com.au – by skipping the socks and undies, and buy him something that will optimise his life with kids.

There is a great range of stylish baby bags for Mums on the market, but not every Dad wants to tote a floral masterpiece. DadGear, developed by two American Dads answering the call of hands-on Dads everywhere for products geared towards Dads and their unique needs, is the ultimate answer!

The DadGear nappy bags are available in backpack and stylish messenger bag styles that are pretty much incognito – Dad can definitely get away with using these bags anytime anywhere. All DadGear bags incorporate the DadGear “hands free” approach which allows you to change, feed, and entertain your child without ever having to set the bag down.

DadGear also offers a clever ‘Diaper Vest’, a revolutionary twist on the traditional nappy bag bag. DadGear’s “hands free” concept combines comfort and style, allowing dads to change, feed, and entertain their child easily without anyone knowing they are wearing a diaper bag.

With strategically placed pockets, the vest is constructed with high quality materials for ultimate durability and longevity. Just perfect for minimal-gear trips to the park!

Read the full story on the DadGear products on the DadGear website.

I also like the Dad-focused Bathrobe, Slippers and book set (hey, if he doesn’t go for the gown and slippers, there’s always you ;) ), and the journals for Dad to record his thoughts and stories about parenthood and life in general; a lovely bonding exercise and keepsake.

DadGear Diaper Vest $139.00
DadGear Messenger Bag – Professional Grey $145.00
Dad: My Hero Magnetic Book-Style Photo Frame $13.50
DadGear Backpack Nappy Bag $130.00
Microfleece Bathrobe and Slippers and Dad: My Hero Compendium $70.00
DadGear Sports bag – Retro Red $120.00
My Dad: His Stories Heirloom Book $14.95

While you’re over at Metro Mum scoping gifts for Dad, check out these great new products just landed.

Scout Organic clothing from the US, is so gorgeous for summer, and one of the most affordable organic cotton brands I have found. Trust me: once you’ve experienced organic cotton you won’t want to go back!

Also new in, are the French/English Language Littles dolls (I am so tempted on these: how divine it would be to have French-accented little ones in my midst, and what a life-long gift to be bi-lingual!), Caden Lane linen and blankets from the US – these prints and designs are exceptionally beautiful – iconic Oeuf baby loungers cots and furniture, Milk & Tickles BPA-free colour change baby bottles (a flashback to the Hypercolour ’80s!), and the new and exquisite Ellaroo Mei Tai Organic cotton baby carriers.
