Spring has sprung and already I’m looking forward to summer.  Long sunny days are just around the corner, and the first thing I can’t wait to do is get my summer shoes out.  Although I love boots, it’s always nice to put them away at the end of winter and bring out all my cute sandals – and the same goes for my kids’ shoes!

Isn’t it amazing that three kids from the same family can have three very different approaches to fashion? Our number 1 child (bless his little heart) inherited a lack of intuitive style from his father, but fortunately is very happily guided in the fashion department.  Our number 2 and 3 children however have *very* strong opinions about what they will and will not wear. I just love a makeover! The idea of transforming something into a stunning improvement is exciting. This week I came across what I think is one of the most fabulous makeovers of the year.

I would hesitate to tell you my absolute favourite piece this season, although I do know that the Twirl Skirt (which is organic) may just be the piece Miss N may wear at a birthday party we have coming up this month.

My other seasonal favourite is Fred Bare. They are one the most durable labels, lasting a couple of seasons despite Master R giving them a great big workout, and the fit is perfect. Master R is into the simple look at the moment (refusing to wear bright colours and patterns), so my eye is on the Lighting Tee to start off his long sleeve tee bank.
