A. A. Milne’s Winnie-the-Pooh books were quite popular in my house when I was growing up, and I have just introduced them to Master R who has been utterly consumed by Pooh’s antics (who can forget him rolling in mud to disguise himself as a dark rain cloud!).

One of the most vivid characters that comes to mind when I think of the series is Owl. He is the smart one, who always has some great advice for his friends. Multiply these attributes by three and you have Three Little Owls – www.threelittleowls.com.au: they have thought of everything a  mummy could want – just in time for Christmas!

I’m a sucker for bags. I love the smell of new leather and LBB (‘Life Before Babies’) often consisted of weekend shopping trips to find the perfect evening clutch. These days, bags not only need to look good for me to consider them, but need to be highly functional.
