It was around this time last year that we first introduced KidStyleFile readers to the dynamic KidCuteTure – www.kidcuteture.com, a label that oozes theatrics with ruffles, bustles and a vibrancy that demands attention.

The latest collection is all about stripes and shimmer (provided through a new mix of lurex cottons), with a little bohemian flair thrown in. I am sure you will agree that a selection or two will provide a little panache to your daughter’s wardrobe.

KidCuteTure is available for girls from 4-14 years, with the ‘Kashka’ collection providing a range for smaller kids from birth to 4 years. Last year the range was only available offshore, which left many of us admiring the collection from afar. Gosh,  it’s so lovely I am rushing to get my hands on some for the little babies in my world. I love the Daisy Playsuit in Charcoal and the Camellia Top & Bottom Set both pictured below.

I love hearing about family businesses: the shared passion that runs through the lives of those who work together is such an inspiration. US-based mother-and-daughter Natasha and Olga Pantely are a fine example of the creativity that can blossom from family collaborations.

KidCuteTure – www.kidcuteture.com – was born following the birth of Olga’s  first child – and Natasha’s first grandchild – Olivia in 2007. Inspired by the potential to create unique apparel for Olivia, and others seeking a bold, creative approach to dressing their daughters, and armed with their extensive business expertise -  Natasha’s experience of over 25 years as a fashion and graphic designer in the US and Europe, and Olga’s decade working as an investment banker – they embarked on their dream of creating something amazing.

Natasha and Olga have succeeded: KidCuteTure clothing possesses both a fashion forward punch and a design intelligence that is architecturally expressive. The cuts of the 100% cotton and silk cloth and the structural embellishments create stunning shapes and forms which stand out to dramatic effect in the Autumn/Winter 2011 palette of rich red, charcoal and white.
