Today I want to share a long-time favourite of mine with you: Klutz – www.klutz.com.au kits for kids. I can’t tell you how many times these handy and well-thought out kits have bailed me out of a “what are we doing today, Mum?” situation!

Chicken Socks is Klutz’s range of kits for kids 2-4 years and 4-6 years. Everything you need to undertake a range of activities from making your own super-hero character, to launching rockets into outer space to making a stunning floral display to creating your own scary monsters is packaged into one convenient and easy to use kit.
What I love about these kits is that they comprehensively cover the subject matter so they are more than a 5 minute wonder (the ballet tutu kit includes pop-out shoe toppers and tiaras, and the super-hero kit includes cardboard masks, sticker insignia, and all kits come packed with play ideas, for example) and the activity ideas are delivered with humour and excitement that is infectious. Wallet friendly pack refills and bulk party packs are also available. I can never wait to pop open a new kit, and I’ve never been disappointed. Below are some of my favourites.
