I’m always on the look out for unique decor finds for my kidlet’s room and our family living area. New additions, when strategically placed, are almost like a brand new room. My latest find will bring a quirky flavour to your nursery…
Little Red Stuga – www.littleredstuga.se - is a design and production studio founded by Kasper and Ulrika in Gothenburg back in 2007. From rugs to beanbags to their latest Bu! Indian there is a certain flair to the range that will make you want, want, want.
I’m drawn to the Mountain poufs designed for Lekolar which were nominated in “Best Children’s furniture 2011″ by Family Living. Coloured and printed in Sweden, I can imagine my two rugrats relaxing in one of these and enjoying a picture book or two. Look a little closer and you will find details to the patterns on these items you didn’t expect such as tribal masks on Kilimanjaro, base camps on Mount Everest and kawaii figures on Fuji. Add the Landscape rug to the mix and you gain an aerial view of the world about complete with landscape with fields, water, railways and roads. The Dream Big Playmat is perfect for meetups with friends. There is lots of room for finding a comfy space and lounging around with friends.
Little Red Stuga items start at US$25.00 and can be ordered through the online store or by emailing the label directly.
