Unlike Miki, I have never had the fortunate luck to find myself in the Northern Hemisphere in December. I yearn for a white Christmas.  I have created a romanticised version of how it would play out if it was to occur: snow flakes floating to the ground outside my foggy window pane; tree with toys wrapped in pretty paper beneath it; wellington boots at the front door and gorgeous winter jackets hung on the cloak stand, and my delightful children, in their winter woollies, excitedly anticipating the festivities. Parenthood is a journey filled with joys and burdens,with highs and lows; and to do it well I need constant inspiration!
