UK-based Mibo Design Studio – www.mibo.co.uk – burst into the scene in 2001 after designer Madeleine Rogers couldn’t find lighting solutions that put a smile on her dial.
Neccessity is the mother of invention, and Madeline got on the case, quickly gathering fans including UK’s Habitat and The Conran Shop. Mibo has since expanded its range to include wallpapers, textiles and ceramics, and the sweetest paper-craft animals.
This Easter, celebrate with Mibo’s irresistable Carrot Crew and Yolk Folk paper animal families. You can purchase the templates for these beauties from the Mibo Etsy store for a mere USD$3.90 a set (currently converts to AUD$4.25 – check Xe.com for up-to-the-minute currency conversions).
Once payment has been made you will receive your templates as a PDF document via email. You can use this file over and over again to create as many chicks or bunnies as you desire (I think I’ll go a’la Color Me Katie, and have them all over the house in large numbers – magic!). They’d make great little gifts to give with chocolate eggs, too.
Aside from a colour printer and paper card stock, you’ll need scissors, a craft knife, a ruler and a glue stick to complete your little Easter friends. Each critter takes 5-15 minutes to create. What a wonderful way to enjoy some Easter fun with your children!
