You know what my absolute favourite thing about winter is? It’s not the hot chocolates, or the open fires, or snuggling up in bed with the electric blanket turned on. Nope, all of those things are fabulous, but my favourite aspect of winter is choosing a new coat!
That’s right, each year I save and save so that I can treat myself to a snazzy new coat when the days start to get chillier, because I know that every time I wear it I’ll feel fantastic all winter long. Since having children I’ve started to apply that principle to them as well. They grow so fast that they actually need new coats each year, so I figure I should make them great ones.
