Mooo Makes Sure Belongings Return Home With Their Amazing Value Name Packs – Save Up To 50% Off Labels Just In Time For Back To School

Mooo- www.mooo.com.au - is my favourite store at the moment because my household is all excited about my eldest child Jude making his big school debut this year. With the need for a new bag, lunch bag, swim bag, smock, shoes and uniform, the shopping list is huge! To make sure once it is bought that it all comes home I have invested in one of Mooo’s super saver packs which include a great variety of name labels. So much better than just scrawling his name on things – we were even able to choose from heaps of design, colour and font combinations – after careful deliberation we finally settled on the funky little monkeys with a navy background.

The best thing about focusing on all things school this week is that Mooo has major discounts available on these awesome labels. The Super Saver Value Pack came in at under half price so I decided to get a couple more for the other kids too. There are lots of value packs to choose from and all discounted. Another option that is a great idea are the shoe dots with clear overlays . Simply stick these on top of your child’s round vinyl name label and place in their shoes to withstand all manner of wear and tear – perfect for my kids who always seem to come home with the wrong shoes.

Mooo has six fantastic label value packs to choose from, all discounted, and all in time for first days at childcare, kindergarten, or big school. There are iron-on clothing labels, shoe dots, book labels, gift labels and more. These value packs are available for a limited time only and no code is needed – thanks to Mooo nothing should ever go missing again!

KidStyleFile’s Summer 2011-12 Swimwear Roundup

One of my earliest memories involves a waterhole, a set of Smurf floaties and an old Holden ute. We had just moved to Darwin and my dad was convinced that we wouldn’t survive very long if we didn’t know how to swim. He drove us out to a place he was told had no crocs and threw my brother and I in the water. It could have been terrifying, but I lapped it up. I LOVED the water from that moment on (I’m certain the Smurf floaties gave me a confidence boost!). It must be in the genes too, as my kidlets also love the water!

Of course, if you are going to be lounging around a pool, a swimming hole or the beach this summer you will need a good pair of swimmers. I’ve found that practicality is essential, as you don’t want them falling down at an unforgiving moment. At the same time, style is essential rather than an optional extra.

As such, I have rounded up a plethora of swimwear labels for your perusal. I’m certain you will find a favourite pair of togs within my selection that will suit your requirements and a style that will suit your little one. And remember – like shoes, you can NEVER have too many bathers!

Christmas 2011: KidStyleFile’s Top 20 Gifts For Babies & Kids {$50 to $100}

……………………………………………………………………………………………………

To continue our Gift Guide Series, today I’m looking at gifts in the $50 to $100 price range.  It’s an excellent price bracket for buying something a little bit special for the boy or girl in your life who has tried extra hard to be good all year (a few whacks in the direction of his/her brother or sister notwithstanding); and there some amazing choices available.

The Cloud Bookcase pictured at #4 below would look beautiful in a nursery – fill it with new or secondhand books for your baby to enjoy to create a truly amazing gift. I’ve also included the Wheely Bug in the babies’ gifts section, because although it’s technically for 12+ months, my youngest child started playing with his brother’s Wheely Bug from about 4 months old, and loved it more than anything else we had – he’d grab at the wobbly antennae, kneel up while holding onto it, push it along like a walking trolley and so on. I’m also enamoured of the TrayKit which I think might be exactly what my boys need to help us all survive the long car trip we’re planning early in the New Year; and for little girls the Bobbi Sunshine Ruffled Daisy Swimsuit is simply too sweet for words. I am cheating by mentioning an extra product in addition to my top 20, but I also think this Stephen Joseph Backpack/Lunchbag Set is adorable and great value, and it comes in several other designs if farmyards aren’t your thing.

Keep reading to see my top twenty picks (in no particular order) for gifts in this price range, loosely grouped into products for babies, boys and girls.

Christmas 2011: KidStyleFile’s Top 20 Gifts for Babies & Kids {Under $25}

Besides your own, how many other kids do you need to buy gifts for this Christmas?  Nieces, nephews, God-children, step-children, friends’ and neighbours’ kids, your child’s class Kris Kringle… it all adds up pretty quickly, doesn’t it?

The good news is that there are loads of amazing gifts out there for under $25, meaning you can stay within budget and delight the recipient at the same time. These are also the kinds of presents I like to put under the tree for my own kids; after all, not every gift they receive needs to be huge and expensive.  I sometimes find that they get just as much fun from a $15 bath toy as from something costing ten times more!

I’ve put my top 20 gifts under $25 below, but do have a hunt through the online stores to find other options. Many of KidStyleFile’s favourite boutiques have fabulous categories set up specifically for inexpensive gifts, such as Little Styles (with 11 pages worth!), Dragonfly Toys, Baby’s Got Style, French Bazaar and Design Child among others.

I hope that helps with keeping your Christmas budget balanced, and the special kids in your life overjoyed – good luck!

Mooo: Nurturing A Love Of Fabulous { Personalised } Bags

………………………………………………………………………………………………….

I have to admit that I have passed a love of bags on to my daughters. Thankfully they are going to leave my bags alone because Mooo – www.mooo.com.au – has got them covered in age appropriate bags for every occasion.

What drew me to Mooo today was these fabulous swim bags. With summer just around the corner these bags are fabulous for summer activities. Hanging by the pool or the beach? No worries, these bags are big enough to fit in everything you need for some fun in the sun, and they have an easy clean, water resistant inner finish. If you’re planning a summer holiday (or have sleepovers on the horizon) then don’t forget to take a look at these great duffle bags which make fabulous overnight bags and easily do double duty as sports bags.

I know quite a few little ones who would love one of these backpacks or messenger bags when kindergarten and school beckon for the first time in the not too distant future. Also take a peek at the fabulous lunchboxes, library bags and pencil cases to complete the transition from home to school.

Mooo personalised bags range in price from $24.95 to $69.95.

While you’re over at Mooo make sure you take in the huge range of other personalisable products, including clothing, wall stickerswooden puzzles, invitations and cards, canvas artheight charts and books.
