Mosquito en Alaska – www.mosquitoenalaska.com- is a Spanish boys and girls label designed by Elena Reig Vito that has hit the big international media by storm (namecheck: Vogue and MiLKmagazines). The brand focuses on stylish clothes for children that moves away from traditional colours and designs, whilst remaining practical. The Spring/Summer 2010 range combines exquisite fabrics which provide a real tactile experience from the simplest touch and to me, has a real 70s feel to it without the flares! The ‘Mr Wine’ combination is my favourite – pedal pushers are my trend watch for the coming season.
Mosquito en Alaska is yet to move to Australian shores but is gathering quite a following in stores across Europe. Contact them to enquire about shipping some to your location.
