From its birth in Norway to it’s metamorphosis in Lithuania, Mummymoon – www.mummymoon.com is a label whose designer has poured her new found mummy energies into creating a label that is full of creativity. Ieva, young daughter Domicele, baby son Rapolas and the ever helpful Vejune, are a team that work together to develop styles that are functional and stylish, reflecting the surroundings of their European landscape.
Ieva began her journey studying interior design at the Art Academy of Vilnius, and dreaming of moving into film. Her children changed her perspective on things and she redirected her passion and love towards her daughter and son. She says “Living in seclusion and with lots of time on my hands, I began to create. Domicele did, too. And so we worked together – sketching, sewing, photographing and selling the clothes for the children. I could have never imagined this was going to be what I do in life, but now I can’t imagine doing anything else.”
MummyMoon garments range in sizing from 1-4 years. Each and every item is designed and made by Ieva and her small team from carefully selected materials.
