When I was a little girl, I had dreams of being a dancer.  I would prance around the house in anything remotely related to dancewear (including my mum’s 80’s-style aerobics leotards; let’s all be grateful that they’re out of fashion now) for hours twirling my little heart out.

If only FLO dancewear had been around in those days.  Mum’s leotard wouldn’t have even had a look in if I’d known about the deliciously soft dancewear embellished with tulle, ruffles and sparkles.  It’s inspired by Felicia Leoncelli, ex-senior artist with the Australian National Ballet, and now designer and mum.  I really think that this brand is going to win the heart of just about every little girl out there.

My two year old has recently been going through a new phase: monsters.

My favourite childhood memories revisit me every summertime. Hot sand, windows down, cool dips, icy poles and spending all day in my swimsuit. Conversations with friends confirm these as the universal memories of Australian childhood, which our own children are now experiencing anew.
