As autumn leaves begin to fall, so too does all the new season fashion…and some of the hippest new collections are landing in store now at Little Pinwheel – www.littlepinwheel.com.au. Oh she is too cute!

Today, in all it’s glory, I bring to you the incredible ‘The Future Is Now’ Autumn/Winter 2010 from Polka – www.polkakids.com.au. Never an outfit to disappoint, design duo Marika and Jo, exceed expectations once more with their latest collection pieces for babies from size 000 through to size 7.

I live in one of the most spectacularly beautiful places on earth: Tasmania; which also happens to have some of the coolest weather here in the land of Oz.  So for this summertime babe, the truth hurts! The reality is that fun in the sun will shortly come to an end for me and my little family. All too soon we will be reaching for much warmer clothing to see out the day.

However I’m not glum, no! One of my embarrassing quirks is my love for celebrity gossip and fashion. I try very hard to hide this little obsession interest, but with all the activity with this weeks Golden Globes I have been swept away – not by the dresses, not by the celebs, but by the Boom Boom Room.  This is the place that all celebrity parents go to to discover the very best in new kids fashion. It’s like a trade show, but they get to take it all home!!

My favourite childhood memories revisit me every summertime. Hot sand, windows down, cool dips, icy poles and spending all day in my swimsuit. Conversations with friends confirm these as the universal memories of Australian childhood, which our own children are now experiencing anew.
