Earlier this week, I made my way to the local shopping centre full of enthusiasm for a full day of searching out the bargains. I remained calm for the 30 minutes it took me to find a car space; I continued to breathe regularly as I queued for a change room in one of the little boutique stores. It wasn’t until Miss N had an almighty explosion, just when I was in sight of the register, that I admitted defeat.

Heading home, I concluded what I already know: shopping is best done from my comfy leather couch at home with my laptop in my lap. Not only is it a better experience, the prices are better too!

With Christmas right around the corner and a quantity of presents still on my ‘to do’ list, I had a roam around the interlands to see what I could see and came to a happy stop at Chic Kids – www.chickids.com.au. In my neck of the woods, spring is truly upon us and thus far she has not disappointed…the sun is shining, the birds are singing and my children are enjoying every minute of it – just glorious!
