Usually when we cover a label we focus on the current season release. However, today I’m doing things a little differently. You see, as you all know from years of geography lessons back at school, the Northern Hemisphere seasons are the opposite of ours here in Australia. As such, as we currently enjoy our summer range, those up north are enjoying autumn (or ‘fall’) season pieces. This can work in our favour as we can pick up their outgoing pieces at hot prices.
Designed by Alexia Panza, Tom & Drew - www.tomanddrewboys.com – is a label that pays homage to the personalities and youthful spirit of boys, whilst still maintaining a classic feel to the pieces. The spring collection has a real adventure feel about it and it will take no stretch of the imagination to picture your son climbing trees, running around the backyard at a hundred miles per hour or off fishing with dad. The fall collection, by contrast, seems to be channeling the Upper East Side of New York with suspenders and little velvet dinner jackets that could easily be worn by Chuck Bass, or waist coats perfect for Dan Humphrey.
