Beloved world-wide by kids and parents alike, we first fell in love with kind, long-suffering Charlie and his hilarious if exhausting younger sister Lola back in 2001 (Child’s debut Charlie and Lola book won the prestigious Kate Greenaway Medal that year), and since then the characters have been developed throughout many books and a television series.
