I live in one of the most spectacularly beautiful places on earth: Tasmania; which also happens to have some of the coolest weather here in the land of Oz.  So for this summertime babe, the truth hurts! The reality is that fun in the sun will shortly come to an end for me and my little family. All too soon we will be reaching for much warmer clothing to see out the day.

However I’m not glum, no! One of my embarrassing quirks is my love for celebrity gossip and fashion. I try very hard to hide this little obsession interest, but with all the activity with this weeks Golden Globes I have been swept away – not by the dresses, not by the celebs, but by the Boom Boom Room.  This is the place that all celebrity parents go to to discover the very best in new kids fashion. It’s like a trade show, but they get to take it all home!!

My two year old has recently been going through a new phase: monsters.

All I want for Christmas is…..a Craft Schmaft kit, a book or two, a few dresses for Miss N, some boardies for Master R, and a music set from Little Pinwheel – www.littlepinwheel.com.au!

I have become deeply obsessed with the Craft Schmaft products. What a brilliant concept, and I am told by Hayley from Little Pinwheel that they are perfect for even someone with basic sewing skills like me! To make the Stripey G-Raf, for example, everything from the stuffing, ribbon, needle and thread (packaged in a cute tin to keep), pattern and cotton socks are included in a lined drawstring bag.
