In my late teens (back when film cameras were still the norm) I would spend my pocket money on film and snap, snap, snap away. As a mother, I always have a camera in hand, and as a consequence one of Miss N’s first words is “cheese”. But, despite my gusto for capturing every little milestone or family event, quantity has never really translated into quality. My pictures recount events, but are devoid of any wow factor.
My excitement has been barely contained since I discovered Angie Baxter’s Love Your Camera One Day Workshops which assist the mummy photographer, like me, bring out the creative being inside and take our photographs from “so so” to buzz worthy. Love Your Camera Workshops help each participant to learn the Tips and Tricks of Professional Photographers (which really does mean I don’t have to attempt reading the manual! YAY!).
Love Your Camera Workshops are hosted Australia wide by Angie Baxter, a professional children’s photographer, in person. The day is a fun filled day of inspiration and discovery, including both a digital workbook and lunch. What’s more, all KSF readers who book before 5 March, 2009 will receive 20% off their booking simply by quoting code ‘KIDS‘, which takes the day fee from $225 down to $180. Be quick and snap up a spot fast, these workshops are filling very very quickly!
